The EE 03TF volume resistivity tester is used for determination of volume resistivity on conductive and semi-conductive rubber and plastic materials, particularly on cables, according to IEC 60804, IEC 60502-2 and ASTM D257 fig 6.

The system can connect to up to 10 test pieces, and the test piece holders can be placed in an oven. A temperature probe is used for logging the temperature near the test pieces.

For a complete system you need:
EE 01Base + EE 03TF-x + EC 14

• The base instrument, EE 01Base:
  It can measure currents down to 10 aA (10 × 10^-17 A), charges down to 1 fC, and resistances up to 10¹⁸ Ω with high stability and accuracy. It is also capable of measuring the largest voltage range up to 200 V with an input impedance exceeding 200 TΩ. All this performance is built into an instrument that operates as simply as a digital multimeter.
• The volume resistivity test fixture, available in 2 models:
  EE 03TF-1 for measuring on one test piece, which includes:
  – 1 test piece holder (EE 03III.02).
  EE 03TF-10 for measuring on up to ten test pieces, which includes:
  – 10 test piece holders (EE 03III.02)
  – Selector switch box (see below)
  – Scanner card (to get 10 measurement channels)
  Both models include:
  – Silver paint (1 jar with 3 g)
  – Required cables
  – Temperature sensor type K
  – Resistivity calibration templates
• The resistivity software EC 14 controls the electrometer and test fixture for standardized resistivity testing. It provides current–time plots to determine electrification time, tools to verify measurement stability, and optional temperature monitoring using a thermocouple probe.

    The EC 14 Resistivity application can perform repeated or scheduled measurements to monitor how resistivity changes over time, for example when the material under test is exposed to temperature variations. Test data can be exported for use in spreadsheet software or LIMS systems.

Selector switch box (included in EE 03TF-10)

The box routes each test piece holder to the appropriate measurement mode on the base instrument.

• Extra test piece holders (EE 01-III.02) if you need more than the included.
• Silver paint (EE 03.01) – 1 jar with 3 g.
• PC with Windows (ED 04). Delivered with the EC 14 Resistivity software preinstalled. Software license (EC 14) must be ordered separately.
