The EE 04TF volume and surface resistivity tester is used for measuring volume and surface resistivities over a wide range of semiconductive to insulating materials, according to ISO 14309, IEC 62631-3-1, ASTM D257 fig 4, IEC 60093, IEC 93 and JIS K6723 chap. 6.8.
The guarded fixture provides stable and repeatable measurements by minimizing leakage and stray currents. It includes electrodes for both volume and surface resistivity testing and allows quick switching between the two modes. The fixture accommodates flat samples of various sizes in accordance with ASTM D257 and related standards

- The base instrument, EE 01Base:
It can measure currents down to 10 aA (10 × 10-17 A), charges down to 1 fC, and resistances up to 1018 Ω with high stability and accuracy. It is also capable of measuring the largest voltage range up to 200 V with an input impedance exceeding 200 TΩ. All this performance is built into an instrument that operates as simply as a digital multimeter. - Resistivity test fixture, EE 04TF – Includes required cables.
- The resistivity software EC 14 controls the electrometer and test fixture for standardized resistivity testing. It provides current–time plots to determine electrification time, tools to verify measurement stability, and optional temperature monitoring using a thermocouple probe.Click image to enlarge.
