The high force relaxation rig, EB 02HF, is used for testing of stress relaxation with high forces up to 45 kN, according to ISO 3384.

Testing stress relaxation in compression with high forces

For testing of stress relaxation with high forces, we can offer you our High Force Rig, EB 02HF.

With this rig is it possible to test stress relaxation in compression, according to ISO 3384, where the material will be exposed to forces up to 45 kN (45 000 N) at temperatures up to 200 °C. This allows another type of material tests, compared to what is possible with the standard test rigs.

In spite of the ability to test with high forces, the rig is not bigger than it will still fit into our regular cell ageing ovens/ovens for relaxation tests. The test sample can have a maximum height of either 50 mm or 100 mm, which must be specified on the order.

The actual compression will be performed with help from an external tension-compression tester (this is not included). If you want to secure that the temperature drop isn’t remarkable during the compression, the equipment can be supplemented with our special designed oven, EB 02HF.01 (recommended).
